Millie Bobby Brown fans fell in love with her charismatic character, Enola Holmes, in the first film. Since a sequel was announced to be in the works, we’ve all been eagerly waiting for its arrival. While Enola Holmes 2 unfortunately won’t be coming in October, we do have a release date!
The movie will of course see Brown reprise her role as the titular character. Also returning are Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, Susan Wokoma as Edith, and Adeel Akhtar as Inspector Lestrade. New cast additions are David Thewlis and Sharon Duncan-Brewster.
By the time the sequel is here, it will have been a little more than two years since the first movie was released. So when can we expect to see the new, highly-anticipated film?
When is Enola Holmes 2 coming to Netflix?
Great news! Enola Holmes 2 is just one more month away. The Netflix production will be added to the streamer’s library on Friday, November 4! That date is an exciting one for Manifest fans as well, as the highly-anticipated season 4 part 1 will make its debut on the streamer. That Friday is going to be booked and busy for us with these two great productions to watch!
In the sequel, we’re going to see the young but capable Enola, now a detective herself, opening her own agency. Though she finds out that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems. Resigned to accept the cold realities of adulthood, Enola is ready to close up shop. But then she gets her very first official case. A penniless matchstick girl comes to the detective for help with finding her missing sister.
The case proves to be far more puzzling than the new detective expected and she’s thrown into a dangerous new world – from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola is going to need the help of her brother, Sherlock himself, to unravel the mystery.
Enola Holmes 2 premieres Friday, November 4. Be sure to catch up on the first film on Netflix for a refresher ahead of the exciting sequel!
