Zac Efron is back with a new movie! This Friday the actor will star in The Greatest Beer Run Ever, a biographical war comedy-drama where he plays U.S. Marine Corps veteran John “Chickie” Donohue, a guy who went on a legendary “beer run” to provide support and raise morale for his comrades in Vietnam.
And yes, it is based on a true story. The film is based on the book of the same name by Joanna Molloy and the real Donohue. The Greatest Beer Run Ever had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival where it debuted to mixed reviews. But if you’re like me you’re going to support Zac in whatever he does so let’s see where we can watch it.
Is The Greatest Beer Run Ever on Netflix?
No, since this is an Apple TV+ movie, it isn’t available on Netflix and that probably won’t change. The good news is that Netflix has several biographical war movies available on the platform, although they’re more dramatic than they are comedic.

You will need an Apple TV+ subscription to watch the Zac Efron-led movie. It starts streaming on the service on Friday, September 30. The movie will also be released in select theaters, but the easiest way to watch it would be to get Apple TV+ at home.
