From an Andrea Seigel screenplay, Agnieszka Smoczynska, a Polish writer and director, helmed the new drama movie.
Smoczynska is most well-known for her 2015 horror film <span data-preserver-spaces=”true”>The Lulu. You might also recognize Seigel from the Netflix comedy Humble: A Netflix Mystery Movie.
The Silent Twins was based on Marjorie Wallace’s novel. It is also based upon a true story. It follows the lives of June Gibbons and Jennifer Gibbons, who were identical twins and became known as “The Silent Twins” when they refused to communicate with anyone else for many years.
Black Panther’s Letitia and Tamara Wright are the stars in the leading roles. Leah Mondesir–Simmonds and Eva-Arianna Baxter star in the leading roles. Treva Etienne and Michael Smiley are also part of the cast. Kinga Preis, Amarah–Jae St. Ausbyn, Tony Richardson, and Declan Joyce round out the rest.
