It is a live-action version of the popular animated film that was titled the same that was inspired by the novel The Adventures of Pinocchio written by the writer Carlo Collodi. The most recent adaptation of the classic tale takes place in an Italian village, where the titular puppet is transformed by the charming Blue Fairy and is set off on an adventure in hopes of becoming an actual boy.
Tom Hanks stars as Geppetto. Tom Hanks is Geppetto, with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth providing the voice of Pinocchio. Additionally, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will voice Jiminy Cricket. Academy Award nominee Cynthia Erivo will portray the role of the Blue Fairy. The cast is an impressive lineup that includes Luke Evans, Giuseppe Battiston and Keegan-Michael key.
The director of Pinocchio will be no other than Robert Zemeckis, who has impressive credits to boast about, including Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and The Polar Express. Chris Weitz wrote the script and is credited with writing the screenplay for Cinderella, the Disney live-action film Cinderella.

Although it’s the ideal streaming experience, the live-action version for families is a wholesome adaptation of the classic animated story. Still, the fact that it’s impossible should not stop users from having fun. There are plenty of great options for viewers to stream today, including Over the Moon, Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, and Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans.

Pinocchio (2022) will be available for purchase through DisneyPlus from September. 8th 2022. The film will be part of an exclusive cast which features Obi-Wan Kenobi, Turning Red, and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers.
