Netflix’s upcoming Norwegian-language action adventure Troll Netflix movie is an upcoming film about the awakening of an ancient giant troll. A group of heroes must unite to stop the troll.
According to What’s On Netflix, Troll will is being created by the team of Alicia Vikander and director Roar Uthaug. The pair have worked together before on Tomb Raider. Uthaug says his idea for the Troll Netflix movie has been in development for more than two decades now.
At Netflix Geeked Week 2022, we got to see the first official teaser for the movie and the brief glimpse we’ve received makes me very excited for Troll and the creature design. We get a sneak peek at the actual troll and if you want to see it for yourself, keep scrolling!

In early September 2022, Netflix finally revealed the release date for Troll as part of the service’s Netflix and Chills lineup. Troll will begin streaming on December 1, 2022.

From Netflix, “Deep inside the mountain of Dovre, something gigantic awakens after being trapped for a thousand years. Destroying everything in its path, the creature is fast approaching the capital of Norway. But how do you stop something you thought only existed in Norwegian folklore?”
