Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are making their long-awaited return to romantic comedy in the Netflix original film Your Place or Mine. It’s good that we don’t have long to wait for the top actors back on the screen, tugging at our heartstrings.
Your place or mine is about a couple of best friends who live across the world (played by Witherspoon and Kutcher) that help to alter the course of their lives by switching coasts. When Debbie (Witherspoon) is pursuing her long-held dreams in New York, Peter (Kutcher) adopts her son, a teenager, with her in Los Angeles.
The film also stars Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, Zoe Chao, and Steven Zahn in supporting roles. We’re eager to see if Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher’s characters will fall for each other as we all enjoy romantic slow-burns or if they can find love with someone else.

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher appeared at Netflix’s TUDUM fan event on the weekend of Sept. 24th to unveil the release date of their highly-anticipated film Your Place or Mine. The romantic comedy is scheduled to hit the streaming platform in February. 10, 2023.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Witherspoon or Kutcher play an important film role. Witherspoon was last seen in the film “A Wrinkle in Time before pivoting to the show Little Fires Everywhere and The Morning Show and producing The Morning Show, which is titled Where The Crawdads sing. Kutcher landed a tiny part in B.J. Novak’s debut directorial film Vengeance earlier in the summer.

With Reese scheduled to appear in season 2 of The Morning Show alongside Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Aniston, not to mention Legally Blonde 3 in the working (!) and Ashton being a part of several romance films previously (remember No Strings Attached? ), We believe they’ll be a hit as (on-screen) love interest.
To give you more reason, The film is directed by Aline Brosh McKenna. She has also written the screenplays The Devil Wears Prada and 27 Dresses. Yes, this is going to be an excellent film.
What exactly is Your Place Or Mine about?
As per Deadline, The rom-com is said to take place throughout “two best friends living across the oceans” in their quest to “swap houses for a week before seeing their entire lives alter.”
So far, it sounds similar to the Holiday but not as Christmas-y. But we’re not complaining.

There are no specifics on when we can anticipate the release date of Your Place Or Mine to be released. But, we know that Jason Bateman (Ozark) will be producing it. We confirm that Jason Bateman ( Ozark) will be producing the film with Michael Costigan under their Aggregate Films banner.
